This was hit so I’m doing it again.  This time I decided to bring up the bitterness by doubling up on the bittering hops.  I’m also increasing the dry hop by 1oz.

Grain Bill

15lbs 8ozs Pilsen 2 Row (German)
2lb 8ozs Flaked Rice
8ozs Acid Malt (50% in first mash and the balance there after)
1oz Huell Melon @ 10mins (original recipe was 1.5ozs, see notes)
1oz Mosaic @ 10mins (original recipe was 1.5ozs, see notes)
4oz Huell Melon dry hopped (original recipe was 2ozs, see notes)
4oz Mosaic dry hopped (original recipe was 2ozs, see notes)
Mash temp 105F for 30 mins, 145F for 15mins, 155F for 35mins and then raise to 170 and sparge (See note on first mash screwup)
4 packs of Saflager w-34/70

Water

Water adjustment of 1g gypsum and 2g epsom salt.

Brewing Notes

Messed up my initial temp.  First mash was planned for 105 and I heated everything up to 138 so the first mash was way off.  I chilled the HLT and therefore the first mash was declining from 138 to 105.

Adjusted the hop additions to increase bitterness and dry hop.  First brew was also not to recipe as I under shot the bitterness addition.
